Startpoints are specific coordinates setup to allow users to jump to a location in a property. There is a Default Startpoint that can not be deleted or renamed. This is pre-configured by Utherverse and is set as the default entry point, however new Startpoints can be set to be default landing point by the property owner.

Click the menu list (Home Options panel) on the Corner Ring to access the Startpoint Editor panel. This panel can be made longer by clicking the Expand button UI Expand button under the scrollbar.

Startpoints can be used to link up properties with specific coordinates. They can also be used to quickly port to a location within a property by the owner or by visitors using the Move To Location script.

Startpoints are part of the URL to a property. This is important to allow users to port to that location if you share the correct URL with them.

Startpoints can be Landmark enabled to that when the location is saved as a Landmark, it is able to port to to the correct coordinates.

Startpoints are color-coded:

  • Grey means created.
  • Yellow means that this Startpoint is is Landmark enabled.
  • Green mean that this is the default Startpoint.
  • Blue indicates the default Startpoint and it is Landmark enabled.

Note: If there are no props listed you will have to reapply the layout, or contact the designer of the layout.

Click a prop from the list to select it.

Now you are in you new layout part of your new property, you can make a new Startpoint and make it default so that when you port to your property, you land in the new area and not in the basic zaby.
