The PID or Prop Identification number is a unique number that identifies a specific prop within your property. Mostly users do not need this information. The exception being the Trigger Linked Script. This script requires you to link PID numbers to it to allow triggers to happen on other scripts, linked to that prop. These numbers are usually a string of 9 numbers, this can be a bit frustrating to copy, therefore the Prop Editor has a PID copy button 
.
Using the PID button[]
- Select the prop you want to copy the PID from.
- Click the PID button
to copy the PID number to your clipboard (a message in the Chat panel shows that you successfully copied the PID number). - Select the prop with the Trigger Linked Script on it.
- Go to the Prop ID field and press Ctrl+v to paste the the PID.
- Proceed to do this for any or other PIDs you want on this script. If you want to do this on the same script make sure to add a semicolon ; between each PID number.
Right-click option[]
When Prop Editor is open, right-click props and choose the Copy Prop ID option. This functions exactly the same as the PID copy button in the interface. In the right-click menu, the PID is shown behind the prop name.
