Ignore is a feature used to prevent you from seeing or interacting with people on your Ignore list. This is helpful to prevent plausible fights or discussions with certain individuals. Other then it hiding their avatar, you will also not see them in chat but you will still see their poof cloud if they have one. They can also not read any of your chat and visa versa. Though other people can still interact with them which might cause some awkward situations. Ignores are not counted in the Local tab or the Relationships panel, but they are counted on the Dimensions panel.
Boot rights and Ignore[]
If either the ignorer or ingoree has boot rights somewhere they can physically see each other. However, they are still unable to talk or see each others chat. The only thing the booter can do is boot them from the region.
